It is unlawful to construct, reconstruct, structurally alter, remodel, renovate, restore, demolish, deface, move or maintain any historic landmark or asset within a historic district in violation of the provisions of this article.  Any violation of the provisions of these regulations shall be a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine or by imprisonment for not more than six months for each offense or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day’s violation shall constitute a separate offense. Fees shall be established in Chapter 17 of the Municipal Code of Haysville, Kansas (Code 2023).
